Chanel released a video and ad campaign for the upcoming Holiday season, with a snow-globe-Christmas theme — starring Lily-Rose Depp. 

Depp is the new face of the brand, and appears in a lifesize snow globe in the festive video below. The ad, shown above, features her sitting on top of a giant Chanel No. 5 L’Eau bottle — while holding a snow globe and staring at the smaller bottle inside.

Chanel’s 30-second video was directed by Jean-Paul Goude, a French filmmaker and graphic designer.

Depp said in a statement, “I loved playing the character created by Jean-Paul. The joy and wonderment reminded me of how I felt as a little girl on Christmas morning.”

Goude stated, “For me, Lily-Rose incarnates the freshness and vivacity of a young girl, mixed with the maturity of a seasoned actress.”

Depp is in the film, The King, currently on Netflix – and she recently spoke to Vogue Australia about the role.
